Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Location: Deeside
Contract Type: Permanent / Full-time
Salary: £53,000 - £54,000 + Bonus + Training + 5% company pension contribution

About the Role

My client a global leader in what they do, due to growth they are looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their Site Engineering Team. In this role, you will work closely with Production, to ensure the plant and equipment are maintained to the highest standard. You ll support the delivery of safe, reliable, and efficient operations by carrying out planned maintenance, repairs, and installation activities across the site, with a strong focus on Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E).

Key Responsibilities for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
  • Carry out a full range of electrical and mechanical planned maintenance and repair activities to maximise equipment reliability.
  • Maintain plant and equipment in line with legislation, HS&E standards, group procedures, and business requirements.
  • Follow preventative maintenance routines and ensure all tasks are completed and recorded accurately.
  • Monitor equipment performance and work with the engineering team to identify and eliminate recurring issues.
  • Work with the Plant Engineer to develop maintenance schedules, manage critical spares, and coordinate OEM service visits.
  • Engage in Root Cause Investigation (RCI) activities to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support Divisional Engineering with new machinery installations and upgrades to existing equipment.
  • Carry out installation work, including modifications and commissioning of new and existing equipment.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with operational and legislative standards.
