Employment Solutions are looking to recruit for an electrical maintenance technician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to SFG20 standards on HVAC systems, UPS systems, RCDs and PAT testing, lighting systems, LEV and fume cupboards, boilers and air compressors.
  • Diagnose and repair faults efficiently to reduce downtime.
  • Conduct regular inspections and proactive maintenance to ensure reliability and safety.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new systems and equipment.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities using a CMMS (tablet-based, training provided).
  • Manage critical spare parts and ensure effective inventory control.
  • Issue and manage Permits to Work for contractors, ensuring compliance and safety.
  • Support building testing and respond to alarms via the Trend BMS.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and performance initiatives.
  • Deliver weekly reports in line with contractual KPIs.
Qualifications

NVQ level 3 or equivalent in electrical engineering with experience in a similar role. Must have strong electrical fault-finding experience, familiarity with 18th edition qualifications, technical manuals, schematics, and drawings. Able to work independently or as part of a team.

Contract Details

Permanent position with a competitive salary of £40,000 per annum. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.
