Synergi Recruitment is seeking a proactive Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a global food manufacturer in Bedford. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment, with 12-hour shifts in a 4 on 4 off pattern. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical and PLC faults, support installation and commissioning of new machinery, and ensure Health & Safety/HACCP/18th Edition compliance. Must have 5+ years FMCG experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in food/FMCG manufacturing.
• Strong fault-finding across mechanical, electrical and PLC systems.
• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / BTEC in Engineering.
• 18th Edition (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Planned & reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose & repair mechanical/electrical faults.
• Support installation & commissioning of new machinery.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, HACCP, and 18th Edition standards.
