Job summary

The Cornwall Bakery, part of Samworth Brothers, is seeking a Multi‑Skilled Engineer to maintain production and packaging lines, perform planned and reactive maintenance, and improve reliability. You will work with mechanical and electrical systems on automated equipment, diagnose faults, and implement first‑time fixes to minimise downtime, while prioritising safety and food hygiene.

About The Role

As a Multi‑Skilled Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our production sites running safely and efficiently. You’ll work with a wide range of modern food manufacturing equipment, carrying out planned maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and improving reliability across our lines.

Every day brings a different challenge, and your expertise will help ensure food is produced safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
