Job summary

A South Molton-based manufacturing firm is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their expanding team. You will carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance on a range of specialist machinery, including CNC/ injection moulding equipment, and support preventative maintenance tasks.

The role offers a 37 hour week, site-based working pattern (Mon-Thu 7:30am–4:00pm, Fri 7:30am–12:30pm) with £55,000 salary plus overtime, up to 5% matched pension and 26 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance of manufacturing machinery.
• Ability to fault-find and diagnose complex issues.
• Willingness to undergo extensive in-house training on specialist equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance on plant and manufacturing machinery.
• Complete planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and respond to breakdowns.
• Demonstrate first-class diagnostic skills.
• Resolve complex electrical and mechanical problems.

We're recruiting on behalf of an established engineering and maintenance business that supports blue-chip companies across the South West. Due to continued growth, they're looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join their expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer who enjoys fault-finding, preventative maintenance and working on a diverse range of plant and manufacturing machinery. You'll receive extensive in-house training on specialist equipment including CNC machining centres, injection moulding machines, heat treatment ovens and X-ray machines, helping you develop into a technical expert within the business.
