Overview

You will work as a Multi‑Skilled Engineer at one of Arla’s largest dairies, contributing to preventive maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns, and continuous improvement projects. Your day‑to‑day will involve working on a broad range of dairy equipment such as milk pasteurisation and homogenisers, separation systems, packaging lines and automated machinery.

Responsibilities

Key duties include:

• Diagnose and repair equipment failures across the production line.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimise downtime.
• Support continuous improvement (CI) and project work to optimise processes.
• Operate and service a wide array of equipment, including milk pasteurisation, homogenisers, separators, filers, slicers, cartoners, bottle labellers, cappers, packers, blow moulding machines, weighers, flow wrappers, shrink wrappers, palletisers, conveyors, robotic systems, vision systems and various OEM equipment.

Qualifications

• Ambition & drive.
• Strong experience as a multi‑skilled engineer – shift engineer, maintenance engineer or engineering technician.
• NVQ Level 3, HNC or equivalent experience in fast‑paced manufacturing.
• Experience with pumps, valves, inverter drives, sensors, relays, PLCs (Siemens) and CIP systems.
• Computer literacy: SAP, Microsoft Office, SCADA, Trend systems, HMIS.
