Job Title

Multi‑Skilled Engineers – relocation package available for the right hire

Salary & Benefits

£56,500 base salary + £5k signing‑on bonus plus performance bonuses. Full pension, overtime at 1.5x, and a combined potential package of £75k.

Work Details

Permanent role, 4 ON / 4 OFF shift pattern to support relocation. Location: Shropshire area – nearest cities Telford and Birmingham. Must be willing to live in Shropshire.

Contract: Permanent. Recruitment drive due to site automation, expansion and £MM CAPEX investment.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, adjust, and repair machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe and proper manner.
• Examine machinery and equipment and report on condition, performance, and plan of action for improvements.
• Carry out planned and preventive maintenance according to agreed schedules.
• Share good ideas to form mini‑projects to improve plant performance, including machinery modifications.

Qualifications & Requirements

• On‑the‑Job Competency qualification for a Multi‑Skilled Engineer.
• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or maintenance, or a similar manufacturing qualification.
• HND or HNC diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, or an equivalent in electrical or mechanical fields preferably with a manufacturing background.
• Experience preferred in FMCG, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, or chemicals manufacturing.
