Remit

• As a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for providing effective maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of injection moulding machines, associated robotics, automation equipment and site facilities.
• The successful candidate will join a modern, clean, and highly automated manufacturing environment, working with the latest injection moulding machines, robotics, and automation systems.

Role

• Carry out planned PPM & TPM on injection moulding machinery, robotics, and auxiliary equipment.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns, identifying root cause and implementing corrective actions.
• Perform mechanical and electrical fault finding, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ensure machines are production‑ready in line with manufacturing schedules.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to drive process improvements.
• Promote and maintain high health & safety standards at all times.
• Support training and knowledge sharing within the maintenance team.

Experience Requirements

• Proven experience in maintenance engineering, ideally within plastics / injection moulding or a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault‑finding skills.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, and automation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience with PLC fault finding and programming – Desirable.
• Knowledge of Lean/Continuous Improvement principles – Desirable.
• Proficient in planned and reactive maintenance.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a proactive approach.
• Strong health & safety awareness.
