Overview

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer. Days and Nights. Monday - Thursday. 2 shift rotating pattern as below: Week 1: Mon - Wed, 6am - 6pm. Thursday 5:30am - 2:30pm. Week 2: Mon - Wed, 6pm - 6am. Thursday 1:30pm - 10:30pm. Starting £49,962 per annum. Near to Newport, Wales. Looking to get more down time and weekends off? Responsibilities
  • Efficiently repair various production machinery using both reactive and preventative maintenance techniques, including motors, control panels and various systems
  • Confidence with PLC fault finding
  • Demonstrate proficiency in both electrical and mechanical principles.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the production team to optimise equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and provide reports as needed.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in the FMCG sector.
  • Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering (BTEC, HNC, etc.).
  • Possession of an 18th edition or any additional electrical qualifications is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Commutable distance from near to Newport, Wales.
