Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM).
  • Fault find and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Implement preventative maintenance programs.

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer for our client based in Minworth, Sutton Coldfield. Permanent opportunity – no agency time involved. Days only – 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM with a 12:30 finish on a Friday. Salary – basic salary up to £40,000 plus shift allowance of £6‑8 000 per annum. Hours: (Apply online only) / (Apply online only) rotating 2 weekly Monday‑Friday. Based in a heavy engineering environment, our client is a leading manufacturer of air rifle rounds and pellets for competitive shooting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM)
  • Fault Finding and Repair of mechanical systems
  • Implementing preventative maintenance programs
  • Coordinating with production shift management to schedule maintenance activities
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards
  • Fault finding on electrical systems
  • Repairing faulty and broken down machinery
  • Supporting on projects within the department and the wider business as needed
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Relevant qualifications within a mechanical background
  • Proven work experience as a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical)
  • Knowledge of Mechanical and Hydraulic/Pneumatic systems
  • Knowledge of Welding, Hydraulic/Pneumatic Systems, Milling/Turning etc would be beneficial
  • Ability to read simple drawings
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Flexible approach to work with the attitude to want to learn and grow with the business, this would include overtime and weekends if required
