Job summary

Blue Arrow is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support commercial, retail and distribution properties across Central Scotland, based in Kirkintilloch. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance with a focus on safety, workmanship and customer service. Working Monday to Friday, 8am–4:30pm, salary £31,200 DOE.

You will undertake general fabric repairs, minor plumbing, decorating and project support while ensuring compliance and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Multi-Skilled Maintenance or Building Fabric role.
• Experience within commercial, retail, office or industrial environments.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience using PDA or handheld job management systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Flexible approach to overtime and occasional out-of-hours works.

Responsibilities

• General building fabric repairs including ceiling tiles, carpet tiles, doors, locks, frames and ironmongery.
• Minor plumbing repairs including taps, sinks, toilets, urinals and drainage issues.
• Painting, decorating and making-good works.
• Fire door inspections, repairs, door closers, pivots and re-hanging.
• Procurement of materials and equipment required for maintenance activities.
• Support office fit-outs, refurbishments and planned project works.
• Completion of worksheets, compliance documentation and client sign-off procedures.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

About the Role
