Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical Bias)

Location: Goole - Doncaster

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Shifts: Monday - Thursday 7:00‑4:00 and Friday 7:00‑3:00

Holiday: 24 Days + Bank Holidays – 32 in total

What you’ll be doing
  • Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
  • Fault finding on PLCs (Siemens/Allen Bradley – desirable)
  • Working with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, and valves
  • Diagnosing issues with chains, belts, bearings, sensors, relays, and drives
  • Collaborating with a motivated team that has a strong can‑do attitude
What we’re looking for
  • NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (or equivalent qualification)
  • Previous experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment (ideally FMCG)
  • A strong mechanical or electrical bias with a multi‑skilled approach
  • A proactive, hands‑on mindset with solid troubleshooting skills
