Job summary

A reputable company in construction is looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Flimwell, England. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical bias with electrical/electronic knowledge and at least 5 years' experience in the manufacturing industry. Responsibilities include ensuring that equipment runs smoothly and efficiently across multiple sites in the Southeast region. Strong fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently are essential, along with good communication abilities. This is a full-time position with core hours Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel throughout SE region.

Our client, an established business servicing commercial, industrial and domestic clients within the construction industry are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their busy and friendly team.

Qualifications
  • Experience within a manufacturing Industry, minimum of 5 years.
  • Ability to logically fault find and diagnose, keeping break down times to a minimum.
  • Knowledge of how large machinery operates and able to understand timber construction methods.
  • Understanding of Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems.
  • Organised, self‑motivated able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Good IT and communication skills liaising with staff & manufacturers.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and willing to travel throughout SE region.

Core hours are Monday to Friday, 7am‑4.30pm. Flexibility may be needed to meet business needs.
