A leading engineering firm in Eggborough is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer. The successful candidate will have electrical and mechanical qualifications, supporting the maintenance of plant machinery while ensuring safety and reliability. Salary: £51.1k starting pay, increasing to £53k at 6 months, £55.5k available from 12 months or on completion of all training. Annual bonus up to 7.5% of salary. Overtime paid at x1.5 and x2 of full pay, including shift allowance. Panama shift pattern (5 shifts one week, 2 the next, rotating, days and nights).
The business produces products that surround us every day. On site there is a chemical processing plant and an automated production floor, with processes including chemical processing, mixing and spraying, industrial ovens, machining, and material handling such as conveyors and vacuum stacking robotics.
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a background in manufacturing environments. The role requires a dual skill set, including electrical qualifications. We are happy to consider engineers with either an electrical or mechanical skill bias. You will be working to support the ongoing proactive and reactive maintenance of the plant machinery using a digital CMMS, and through the application of modern maintenance practices, including root cause analysis. The role offers a good mix of planned and reactive work while also allowing for contribution to site improvements and installation activities. You will be working in a supportive team with fantastic leadership, working both collaboratively and independently. Safety is at the forefront of everything at the site, you would be expected to support the application of safe working practices and systems.
