Qualifications

Overview

We are working with a leading UK manufacturer in their search for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team at their Ilkeston recycling facility. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that is dynamic, ambitious, and committed to investing in both their people and their technology.

Hours: 4 on / 4 off (Continental days & nights)

The Role
  • Maintaining DC motors and associated drives
  • Servicing and repairing process control equipment
  • Electrical and/or mechanical installation work
  • Planned and preventative maintenance (mechanical and electrical)
  • Fault-finding and breakdown maintenance on industrial/process control systems
  • Electrical and mechanical repairs on extrusion plant and recycling equipment
The Person
  • Mechanical and electrical installation/maintenance experience
  • Recognised Level 3 apprenticeship/training scheme in electrical or mechanical maintenance
  • Strong ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Previous experience maintaining and repairing PLC systems
  • A full UK driving licence
