MULTI SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

We are currently working with an established maintenance organisation who, due to a large contract win are looking for a number of multi skilled maintenance engineers to join their team.

Your new role

As a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering a high‑quality, efficient, and compliant repairs services to commercial properties. You'll carry out a wide range of tasks including carpentry, plumbing, and masonry—both inside and outside commercial properties.

You'll ensure all work meets professional standards and complies with building regulations and health and safety requirements. The role includes liaising with customers and colleagues, maintaining accurate records, managing van stock.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven ability to complete a variety of carpentry, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks to a multi‑skilled level.
• Competency in non‑core trades and flexibility to work across disciplines.
• Experience working within a trade team and meeting tight deadlines.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Physically fit and capable of undertaking demanding tasks.
• Ability to use smartphones and tablets for job tracking and reporting.
• Understanding of health and safety legislation, including risk assessments and method statements.
• Strong customer service skills and a commitment to delivering first‑time fixes.
• Willingness to undertake training and support apprentices.
• Ability to manage van stock and procure materials efficiently.
