Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - FMCG

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 DOE
Shifts: Monday-Friday, Days Only with an early finish every Friday

About the Role

We're supporting a market-leading FMCG manufacturer as they look to add an experienced Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to their high‑performing engineering team. This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced environment, keeping production lines running efficiently and ensuring consistent output.

If you have strong experience maintaining high‑speed packaging or processing equipment within food, drink, or FMCG operations and you enjoy fault‑finding, problem‑solving, and driving improvements we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, reactive, and preventative maintenance across high‑speed production and packaging machinery.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults promptly to keep downtime to a minimum.
• Deliver engineering improvements to enhance line performance, reliability, and OEE.
• Work closely with production teams to support continuous improvement and ensure smooth daily operation.
• Maintain accurate engineering and compliance documentation.
• Uphold the highest standards of safety at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven background as a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer in food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skill set with solid fault‑finding capability.
• Confident reading engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
