Job summary

An award-winning manufacturing company in Renfrewshire seeks a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical and mechanical skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include performing maintenance activities, supporting efficiency improvements, and ensuring safety standards are met. Previous operational experience is preferred. This is a Monday to Friday position with shifts from 6am to 10pm.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience working within electrical, mechanical, or technical disciplines.
  • Broad knowledge of both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
  • Previous experience in an operational environment is preferable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all maintenance activities as required.
  • Assist team members within abilities & safety.
  • Participate in planned, preventative, and predictive activities.
  • Support maintenance team in providing first-class service.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Shifts: Monday – Friday; Early and Back shift

Early: 6am – 2pm (1.30pm finish Friday)

Back: 2pm – 10pm (9.30pm finish Friday)

Nine Twenty are proud to be working with an award-winning manufacturing company that provide high quality, bespoke products to the aviation, automotive and transport industries. We are currently looking for Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join their site in Renfrewshire.

Responsibilities
  • Perform all maintenance activities as required.
  • To assist other members of your team within your abilities & where safe to do so.
  • Participate in all planned, preventative, and predictive activities as required.
  • Participate in all plant efficiency improvements when required.
  • Fully support the maintenance team in providing a first-class service to the company.
  • Log all job data promptly on to internal maintenance system for history and KPI measurement.
  • Ensure health & safety standards are met and maintained.
  • Machine downtime efficiency.
  • Planned to reactive job completion ratio.
  • Allocated job efficiency targets.
  • Achieve standards set by Engineering Manager.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience working within electrical, mechanical, technical disciplines.
  • Excellent all-round technical, mechanical, hydraulic system knowledge.
  • Broad knowledge of both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
  • Previous experience of working in an operational environment would be preferential.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Organised, logical, and methodical approach to planning and execution of tasks.
  • Has a ‘can do - will do’ attitude.
  • Confident, self-motivated, and resilient, able to proactively identify issues and drive delivery of solutions.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
