Job summary

A large facilities and maintenance company in Bracknell is seeking an experienced electrical maintenance engineer for a static site role. The ideal candidate will be electrically qualified to NVQ Level 3, with the 18th edition and preferably the 2391 Test and Inspection. Responsibilities include PPM and reactive works, overseeing compliance with best practices, and maintaining relationships with clients. Responsibilities

• Carry out all PPM's and reactive works on site.
• Monitor and maintain all main plant and equipment within buildings.
• Establish good relationships with clients and employees.
• Manage the site logbook system and paperwork.
• Oversee CAFM and Concept systems for PPM and reactive tasks.
• Respond to client issues without disruption.

Job description

My client are a large Facilities and maintenance company who operate in various sectors across commercial sector. They are currently looking for an experienced electrical maintenance engineer to join an established team on a static site near Bracknell. This role is Monday to Friday working 8:00 -17:00

Responsibilities will include:

• Carry out all PPM's and reactive works on site.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices.
• Ensure the responsible sites are fully compliant and follow industry best practices.
• Daily monitoring and responsibility of all main plant and equipment within buildings.
• Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all employees and clients.
• Maintain the professional image always, and promote services.
• Ensure All subcontractors are appropriately supervised, and comply with contractual commitments, and site operating processes.
• Ensure you manage the site logbook system and all paperwork is kept up to date.
• To oversee the management of the on-site CAFM and Concept systems and ensure all PPM and reactive tasks are completed within SLA.
• Receiving client issues and resolving these issues effectively without disruption to business or compromising client relationships.
• Be prepared for inclusion on a call out rota for out of hour's emergency response.

• Fully electrically qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with AM2 if required
• 18th edition
• 2391 Test and indpection - highly desirable
• Experience working within occupied offices
• Driving Licence
• Must be able to obtain DBS
