2gether Support Solutions is a Facilities and Estates services company providing support to healthcare professionals caring for over 2000 patients daily across multiple East Kent hospital sites. 2gether provides vital services including maintenance, cleaning, catering, procurement, logistics and much more.
We’re looking for a motivated and practical Multi Skilled Engineering Assistant to join our Estates team at 2gether Support Solutions.
In this hands-on role, you’ll support the delivery of mechanical and electrical maintenance, statutory compliance, and building fabric works across hospital sites. You’ll play a key part in maintaining safe, compliant, and efficient healthcare environments, helping to ensure continuity of patient care every day.
You’ll work under the guidance of our Building Engineer Specialist and Multi-Skilled Engineer's, assisting with a variety of maintenance and compliance tasks including:
Training will be provided where required to help you develop your skills and technical confidence.
This role involves shift work on a rotating basis, covering 8:00am–4:00pm and 2:00pm–10:00pm shifts.
You’ll be a team player with a hands‑on approach, good communication skills, and a strong awareness of safety and compliance. You’ll have:
A basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
Awareness of asbestos, legionella, and COSHH procedures
A can‑do attitude, with the ability to work to deadlines and adapt to changing demands
Willingness to learn and develop new skills through ongoing training
A qualification in a mechanical, electrical, or building fabric discipline is desirable, but not essential.
You’ll also need a full UK driving licence and the ability to travel between sites within the Trust’s estate.
