Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Multi-Skilled Machine Operator in Bridgnorth, United Kingdom. The role covers press work, machining, mechanical assembly and machine maintenance to keep production running efficiently and to quality standards.

Working Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm, on a permanent contract with a salary of £28,000–£32,000 per year. The successful candidate will operate presses, milling, lathe, and perform routine maintenance and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience operating presses and machinery.
• Mechanical assembly competency.
• Familiarity with quality standards and ISO 9001.
• Commitment to health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture products in line with specifications.
• Carry out general metalworking and shop floor duties.
• Review production processes and make recommendations for improvement.
• Review and update operation sheets and related documentation.
• Perform routine shop floor maintenance.
• Maintain machines, tools, and equipment in good working order.
• Complete downtime records and maintenance logs as required.
• Follow all current Health & Safety procedures and guidelines.
• Work in accordance with ISO 9001 quality standards.
• Ensure products meet required quality specifications.
