Job summary

Adler and Allan is seeking a hands-on HGV Driver and Technician in the United Kingdom. The role blends tanker driving with high-pressure jetting, groundworks and tank installations, offering varied, high-impact daily tasks.

You will operate HGV/Class 2 vehicles, perform spill clean-ups, support emergency response, and train to national grid and rail standards, with overtime and travel as required; ADR may be preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence (ADR preferred but not essential).
• Experience with RAMS documentation.
• Experience of tachograph and vehicle checks (training can be provided).
• A flexible, can-do attitude – some overtime & call-outs required.
• Background in multi-skilled trade work (plant operation experience is a bonus!).
• Willingness to work away when needed – hotels & travel covered.

Responsibilities

• Tanker driving – operating company vehicles (HGV/Class 2 Class 1).
• High-pressure water jetting and spill clean-ups.
• Groundworks, remedial works and Tank uplifts.
• Tank/interceptor installation, servicing, and inspections.
• Spill response and industrial cleaning duties.
• Supporting emergency response teams when duty calls.
• Training up to national grid & rail standards.
