Job summary

A leading construction firm in Aberdeen City is looking for a qualified electrician to maintain facilities and conduct maintenance work on electrical systems. The role requires NVQ level 3 or equivalent, with a focus on electrical testing and distribution systems. This full-time position offers a salary of £40,000 per annum along with generous holidays and pension scheme.

Job description
The Package
  • Contract: Full time, permanent
  • Salary: £40,000 per annum depending on experience
  • Hours: 40 hours, Monday to Friday
  • Generous company pension scheme
  • 33 days annual holidays
Main Duties
  • Ensure that the Facilities are maintained to the levels specified in the Performance Standards.
  • Undertake planned, responsive, and cyclical maintenance work either independently or as assistant to a maintenance tradesperson on:
  • Service and repair of lighting and power distribution systems.
  • Reactive repairs to all types of lighting systems and power distribution systems.
  • Undertake maintenance duties in such a manner as to support the objectives of the Client and with respect for the dignity and privacy of the resident group.
Candidate Qualifications/Experience
  • Qualified Electrician with reasonable experience in a maintenance role within a commercial setting (NVQ level 3 or equivalent)
  • City & Guilds or equivalent
  • 18th Edition City and Guilds
  • You will have experience in electrical power distribution systems, and preferred experience in electrical testing.
  • The successful candidate will require a DBS Check before starting in the job.
