Multi‑Skilled Engineer

Location: Wigan

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience)

Hours: 42.5 per week

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

The Role

Due to growth and the introduction of new production lines, we’re looking for additional Engineers to join the team. This role is varied and fast‑paced – in manufacturing there’s no “typical day”.

Key responsibilities include

• Responding quickly to reactive maintenance issues to keep production running.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) once urgent jobs are complete.
• Working closely with production and technical teams to deliver the best possible service.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
• Contributing to a culture of communication, teamwork, and respect.
