ETS Consulting Ltd is recruiting for a Multi Skilled Engineer on a Continental Shift Pattern at the Hull site. The role involves maintenance of automated PLC machinery and heavy process equipment with a focus on high standards and efficiency.

The successful candidate will have an electrical engineering background, be time-served, and be willing to work on pneumatics, hydraulics, and related heavy manufacturing systems.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained in electrical engineering.
• Experience of automated PLC systems and machinery.
• Understanding of PPM systems within heavy process industries.

Responsabilités

• Carry out day-to-day engineering and maintenance to maximise machine efficiencies.
• Work on pneumatics, hydraulics, materials handling machinery, gearboxes and pumps.
• Potential to take on a supervisory role in the future.

Multi Skilled Engineer – Continental Shift Pattern

Location: Hull

Salary: £48,000 + Pension + Overtime

Shifts: 12hr shifts (4 on 4 off – 2 days and 2 nights)

My client is one of the world’s leading privately owned specialist mineral based manufacturers, who have been established over 140 years, supplying a wide range of industries. With a global market presence, the group has gone from strength to strength over the last decade to become centre of excellence within the industry they specialise in. Due to further expansion within the British market; they need to recruit an additional multi-skilled engineer, at their Hull site.

The Role

The ideal candidate will come from an electrical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer, but have some multi-skilling and have PLC controlled automated machinery, PPM and TPM manufacturing experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies. If you have worked on automated machinery, it would be advantageous. Also, able, and willing to work on pneumatics, hydraulics, materials handling machinery, gearboxes, pumps, general mechanical work, and other heavy manufacturing machinery. There is a huge amount of development on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably, with the possibility of taking on a supervisory role in the future.
