Job summary

Ibstock Plc in Bristol is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to uphold plant electrical maintenance across the Cattybrook site. You will diagnose faults, carry out preventive maintenance, and install improvements to sustain safe, efficient operations.

The role requires an apprenticeship or equivalent in engineering, experience with pneumatics/hydraulics and Siemens PLCs, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel. A strong commitment to safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

Time Served, Advanced Apprenticeship (L3) in Engineering Maintenance or Electrical fields.
Maintenance fault diagnosis of Pneumatics and Hydraulics systems.
Knowledge of Siemens PLC systems desirable.
MS Word and Excel proficiency.
Knowledge of basic continuous improvement tools.

Responsibilities

Promote the highest Health and Safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
Utilise CMMS for Planned Preventative Maintenance, Inspections, Service and Repairs
Carry out electrical maintenance and repairs to existing heavy machinery
Ensure rigorous application of continuous improvement tools to optimise performance
Work collaboratively across all support functions to optimise factory performance
