Job summary

VolkerLaser, part of VolkerWessels UK, is seeking a Multi-Skilled Operative to join our Scotland operations in Dunfermline. You will work under site management across multiple disciplines, ensuring safe, efficient delivery and adherence to specifications.

The role requires previous construction site experience, a CSCS card, and a valid UK driving licence. You will contribute to a safe site, manage tools and equipment, and support continuous improvement across projects.

Qualifications

• Previous experience on construction sites.
• Experience in concrete repair/strengthening or civils is advantageous.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
• CSCS card and relevant job-specific tickets are required or advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a variety of construction and civil engineering tasks across a range of disciplines.
• Operate tools, plant and equipment safely and competently in line with training and instruction.
• Ensure all works follow company procedures, method statements and risk assessments.
• Maintain high standard of housekeeping on site and care of tools and plant.
• Identify and report hazards, near misses, defects or unsafe conditions.
• Comply with health, safety, wellbeing and environmental policies at all times.
• Participate in site briefings, toolbox talks and training activities.
• Represent VolkerLaser professionally with clients, sub-contractors and stakeholders.
• Interface with internal teams and external contacts to support project execution.
