Job description
Multi Skilled Carpenter – Social Housing Maintenance – Brent

Location: Brent, North West London (covering Wembley, Harlesden, Kilburn, Willesden, Neasden, Cricklewood, and surrounding areas)

Pay: £23.90 per hour (Umbrella) / £20.59 per hour PAYE (includes holiday pay)

Hours: Monday‑Friday, 8am‑5pm (42.5 hrs per week)

Contract: Temp to Perm – permanent opportunities for the right candidates

Company van and fuel card provided – must have own tools and a full UK driving licence (with 6 points or less)

The Role

We’re looking for experienced Multi Skilled Carpenters to join a long‑term social housing maintenance contract across Brent. You’ll carry out day‑to‑day repairs and maintenance in occupied and void properties, providing high‑quality workmanship and excellent customer service to residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • 1st and 2nd fix carpentry repairs: doors, frames, skirting, architraves, locks, windows and flooring
  • Kitchen and bathroom fitting, repairs and adjustments
  • Worktop and unit replacements or re‑hanging
  • Basic tiling, patch plastering and general multi‑trade repairs
  • Carrying out void and reactive maintenance tasks to deadline
  • Using a PDA or handheld device for job logging and completion
  • Providing excellent customer service in residents’ homes
