Job summary

Camden Council is seeking a competent Multi-Skilled Carpenter for a temporary contract based at N1C 4AG. The role involves joinery and repair works, with emphasis on sash and UPVC windows and doors, and accurate measurement for submission orders.

The successful candidate will have proven carpentry experience, be able to diagnose repairs, hold a full driving licence, and work safely on occupied and unoccupied properties. The contract is 3-6 months with potential extension depending on performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in carpentry and joinery.
• Ability to diagnose and carry out repairs.
• Full Driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain timber doors, frames and windows including UPVC windows and doors.
• Measure and provide a detailed joinery submission order so joinery that's being replaced is made correct.
• Carry out associated multi-trade tasks including basic plumbing, tiling, and minor making-good works
• Ensure all work is completed to an acceptable and professional standard
• Work safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail across occupied and unoccupied properties
