Job summary

Service Care is seeking a Multi Skilled Bricklayer to join the Ashington maintenance team. The role involves brickwork repairs, damp remedial works and related multi-skilled tasks across domestic and commercial properties.

You will deliver a professional repairs service, communicate with customers and colleagues, and help maintain the organisation's reputation for quality service within the Ashington area.

• Full, valid driving licence.

Multi Skilled Bricklayer Location: Ashington Salary: £34,622 per annum Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday Contract: Permanent, full-time

We’re looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Bricklayer to join our Property Maintenance and Construction Department, working within the Ashington maintenance team.

• Carrying out brickwork repairs, damp remedial works and associated multi-skilled repairs.
• Maintaining domestic and commercial properties to a high standard.
• Delivering a reliable, professional and customer-focused repairs service.
• Communicating effectively with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders.
• Representing the organisation positively and helping maintain its reputation for quality service.
• Adapting to new ways of working and contributing ideas to improve the customer experience.

What you’ll bring

Essential requirements:

• A City & Guilds Craft Certificate in Bricklaying or an equivalent qualification.
• A full, valid driving licence.
• Sound working knowledge of bricklaying and the wider building construction sector, including materials, building components, other building trades and relevant regulations.

Desirable experience and qualifications:

• An appropriate CSCS card.
• Experience working in domestic and commercial property maintenance.
• Experience working in a target-driven environment.
