Job summary

Tailored Resourcing Solution on behalf of a leading fresh produce packer seeks a Packaging Manager to oversee four sites in Kent, leading procurement, scheduling, storage and issue of packaging materials with full budget and stock responsibility.

You will manage a 40-strong team across buyers, warehouse and stock control, drive supplier relationships, ensure BRC compliance and keep accurate stock records to meet production plans.

Qualifications

• FMCG packaging experience is required.
• Fresh food / produce exposure is preferred.
• Demonstrable leadership experience in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Excellent supplier management ability and communication at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team across four sites (~40 staff) and manage procurement, scheduling, storage and issue of packaging materials.
• Liaise with suppliers and manage ongoing communications.
• Update and maintain BRC records relating to packaging materials.
• Oversee stock management and replenishment of sundry items; place orders and reconcile stock.
• Prepare stock reports and reconcile stock discrepancies against the system.
