Overview

Salary: XCET PS9 £41,585 - £45,135, dependant on experience.

Hours: 36 hours per week, Full-time (Monday to Friday), 52 weeks per year.

Location: Xavier office based in Chertsey with travel to your hub of schools covering Caterham, Leatherhead and surrounding areas.

Start Date: 1st February 2026.

We are seeking a Multi-Site Estates Officer to join our Trust and play a key role in managing and developing our properties to support excellence across all our schools.

The Role

As the Multi-Site Estates Officer, you will provide high-quality estates and facilities management support across a cluster of primary schools. This is a varied and rewarding role involving site visits, advisory work, compliance coordination, and contributing to both day-to-day operations and longer-term strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support school premises teams in the delivery of both hard and soft facilities management services.
  • Provide the Estates Director with essential information to progress projects, variations, lifecycle replacement programmes and contract monitoring—ensuring all activity remains within agreed financial frameworks.
  • Help drive consistently high standards of quality, safety and performance across the Trust schools.
  • Work collaboratively with the Central Facilities Managers and Trust Compliance Manager to ensure all statutory, regulatory and Trust-wide estate requirements are met.
  • Deputise for the Estates Director when required, offering confident and capable support.
About You / Qualifications
  • Has experience in facilities or estates management, ideally across multi-site environments.
  • Demonstrates strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
  • Understands statutory compliance, health & safety and best practice in premises management.
  • Is proactive, solutions-focused and able to work independently as well as part of a wider team.
  • Is committed to supporting the mission and values of a Catholic education trust.

The successful candidate will require a valid UK Driving Licence. Use of their own mobile phone and vehicle is essential; a laptop will be provided.
