Job summary

Cashmere High School in Christchurch is seeking a passionate and dedicated Multi-materials Teacher to join our high-performing Technology team. This is a fixed-term, part-time 0.7 FTE position for the 2027 academic year, starting 28 January 2027 and ending 27 January 2028.

This is a fixed termpart-time 0.7 FTE (14 contact periods)position for the 2027 academic year. Beginning teachers can apply.

Key skills and attributes

• Motivated and enthusiastic Technology teacher with a passion for the design process and physical prototyping.
• Experience across wood, metal, and plastics is desirable (or a strong specialism with a willingness to expand across materials).
• Familiarity with CAD and CNC technology (embedded in our senior curriculum).
• Confident working in a practical workshop environment with a strong commitment to health and safety standards.
