Salary : £30,424.00
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out minor non-trade specific tasks including minor plaster patch repairs, damp and mould wash downs, tiling, brickwork, plumbing and painting, efficiently and on time.
- Ensure appropriate parts and materials are available for jobs. Accountability for van-based stock and replenishment.
- Ensure that RAMS, Method Statements, Product Information and COSHH are adhered to and followed alongside all other relevant Health and Safety requirements.
- Liaise with the designated Maintenance Manager or Assistant Maintenance Manager regarding the status of work.
- Liaise and interface with other trades as required.
- The Group operate an Emergency Out of Hours Service, which you may be required to work on a rota basis as and when required.
What we are looking for
- A full UK driver’s licence.
- Previous demonstrable experience carrying out various minor building repairs across designated trade disciplines.
- Previous demonstrable experience carrying out general multi-maintenance repairs, including repairs to doors, windows, kitchens or other general repairs.
- Awareness of specific access equipment to be used for at height and confined spaces, and demonstrate an attitude for application, demonstrating ability to work at height if required.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant Health & Safety regulations.
- Flexible approach to meet the demand and needs of our customers with the ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to control materials and stock effectively in day-to-day duties.
- Experience in delivering excellent service in a customer-facing environment.
- Demonstrable competence in using a handheld device.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
