Job summary

Polar Speed Distribution Ltd, part of UPS, is hiring a Multi Drop Van Driver based at Marsh Barton, Exeter (EX2 8QW). The role starts at 0600, Monday to Friday, 40–48 hours per week, with a base rate of £12.82 per hour and an optional Saturday/Bank Holiday rate of £19.23.

You will deliver to GP surgeries, pharmacies, hospitals and patients, ensuring temperature-controlled shipments stay within spec. We offer 28 days’ holiday (rising to 33), a company pension, and UPS Perks At Work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years driving experience.
• Must hold a B category driving licence (ideally ≤3 points).
• Previous delivery driver experience is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Good organisation with the ability to prioritise tasks.

Responsibilities

• Check and scan consignments.
• Complete daily safety checks of vehicle and refrigeration unit.
• Deliver consignments on time while maintaining temperature range.
• Record deliveries and complete driver manifests.
• Provide daily service updates via communications.
• Demonstrate safe driving and present a smart appearance.
