Job description

This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business, to ensure the speedy, efficient, and accurate delivery of pharmaceuticals to pharmacies and hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, competent standard of driving, observing speed limits, traffic signs and giving due regard to other road users.
• Perform daily checks to ensure vehicle is roadworthy, including lights, brakes, coolant, etc.
• Report any faults, breakdowns, accidents or delays.
• Maintain the internal and external condition of the vehicle, including cleanliness.
• Ensure sufficient fuel quantities for the day's work.
• Maintain the security of the vehicle and its contents at all times.
• Check all orders shown on drop sheets and ensure all orders are loaded on the vehicle.
• Collect goods returned for credit, mail, delivery bins and return them safely to the branch as instructed.
• Deal promptly and correctly with damages/breakages, following special procedures for HazChem.
• Maintain a smart appearance.
• Help maintain good customer relations.
• Assist with other duties, including warehouse tasks, as defined by Management.
• Meet all Health & Safety requirements.
