Job summary

Cencora in Burgess Hill is seeking a reliable Multi Drop Van Driver to join our transport team. You will be responsible for safe pickup, transportation and delivery of shipments and medical samples, following schedules, routes and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes accuracy in documentation, robust time management, and strong customer service as you liaise with customers and handle goods in a compliant, temperature-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Less than 2 years in transportation/logistics
• Certification in dangerous goods awareness or cold chain handling (or equivalent) required

Responsibilities

• Complete pickup and delivery activities in line with assigned schedules and service requirements.
• Verify shipment details and obtain signatures or proof of delivery.
• Transport materials, products, and medical samples safely and securely.
• Follow planned routes, temperature control requirements, and regulations.
• Communicate delivery progress, delays, and shipment issues promptly.
• Support loading, unloading, packaging, and labelling activities.
• Monitor vehicle condition and report maintenance requirements.
• Assist with specialised transport assignments, including airport, transfer-point, and hand-to-hand deliveries.
