Overview

The Best Connection - Manchester is currently recruiting a Multi-Drop Van Driver on behalf of our client, a market leader in their industry.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional and friendly team on a temporary ongoing basis.

Pay & Working Hours

• £12.21 per hour
• £16.24 After 8 hours
• Monday to Friday, 05:00 start
• Minimum 8 hour's pay per day
• Ongoing temporary work available

Job Role

• Safely operate, scan, and load your own 3.5 tonne van
• Driving both a long wheel base and a short wheel base vehicle
• Complete 20-40 drops per day, delivering stationary goods
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness
• Complete all relevant paperwork accurately and on time
• Dealing with Customers daily when delivery of products

Requirements

• Valid Cat B UK driving licence
• Minimum 1 year's Commercial Van driving experience (for insurance purposes)
• Comfortable with Loading of your own vehicle as this is a requirement for this role
• Excellent customer service as dealing with customers is a part of your day to day role
• Comfortable with driving both Long Wheel and Short Wheel based vehicles
• Reliability and excellent timekeeping is essential to success in this role
• Comfortable with early morning starts
