Job summary

Brook Street in Antrim is seeking a delivery driver to load and unload vehicles, carry out deliveries and collections, and perform regular vehicle checks. You will maintain accurate hours using Timeware and adhere to UK road laws on IFS business.

Newly qualified drivers may be considered but require insurer approval; experience with multi-drop routes across Northern Ireland is advantageous. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–6:30pm, with a £33,205 annual salary.

Qualifications

• Multi-drop operations experience.
• Manual Handling training.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload vehicles with the appropriate loads (as per paperwork generated).
• Carry out delivery/collection tasks as directed.
• Carry out daily/weekly vehicle checks of vehicle road-worthiness.
• Comply with all UK road usage legislation whilst driving on IFS business.
• Carry out driving tasks (i.e., fuelled, booked out and remain in communication with Transport office)
• Accurately maintain records of the hours worked on a daily basis (i.e., through the use of the Company's Timeware system).
• Comply, as reasonably expected, with all company and official H&SAW regulations.
• Comply with all company directives/policies relating to driving/warehouse operations as directed by the Transport/Warehouse Manager.
• Administer appropriate duty of care to all products that pass through the warehouse facility.
• Appropriate tasks/projects as directed by Transport/Warehouse Manager.
• Wash and clean vehicles as operationally required ( vehicles to be washed at least once per week all year round).
• Comply with all company directives/policies relating to road transport operations as directed by the Transport Manager.
