Job summary

ATA North is recruiting Self-Employed Multi-Drop Delivery Drivers to join our growing operation in the United Kingdom. You will deliver parcels to homes and businesses, handling a typical 60–80 stops daily with Newcastle routes 70–90 stops, starting between 7:00am and 9:00am, using a handheld device and a van.

This is a self-employed role with weekly payments; 17% service fee deducted; payments via Shield Accountancy and van options through our supplier.

Qualifications

• This is a self-employed driving role with onboarding and ongoing support.
• Paid weekly with payments two weeks in arrears.
• Shield Accountancy handles payments to you.
• You must be 25+ with a full UK driving licence and have held it for at least 2 years.
• DBS certificate issued within the last 3 months, or arranged by us with costs deducted from earnings.

ATA North is recruiting Self-Employed Multi-Drop Delivery Drivers to join our growing operation.

If you're reliable, comfortable driving a van and enjoy working independently, we want to hear from you.

Multi-drop experience is preferred but not essential – full onboarding and operational support is provided.

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering parcels to homes and businesses
• Typically 60-80 stops per day
• Newcastle routes typically 70-90 stops per day
• Reduced route volumes while you get up to speed
• Start times between 7:00am and 9:00am
• Using a handheld delivery device supplied by us
• Driving an LWB or XLWB van
• Working with the support of our local operations team

Pay & Self-Employed Structure

• This is a self-employed opportunity with the ability to increase your earnings by taking on more work.
• Paid weekly
• Payments are made two weeks in arrears
• 17% service fee deducted from gross earnings
• Payments managed through Shield Accountancy

Don't Have a Van?

• No van? No problem.
• We can introduce you to our preferred van supplier, who can talk you through the rental options available.

To Use Our Preferred Van Supplier, You Must Be

• 25 years or older
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Have held your licence for at least 2 years

What You Need

• Full UK manual driving licence
• Maximum 6 penalty points
• Right to work in the UK
• Comfortable driving LWB or XLWB vans
• Physically Fit – Some Heavy Lifting May Be Required
• Reliable and professional
• Good Customer Service Skills
• Multi-drop experience preferred but not essential
• DBS Check
• You will need a DBS certificate issued within the last 3 months.
• If you don't currently have a valid DBS, we can arrange this for you, with the cost deducted from your earnings.
