Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking experienced van delivery drivers to cover Leicestershire with immediate starts. You will complete multi-drop deliveries of food and drink wholesale products to schools, care homes, and restaurants from Leicester.

Shifts are early mornings, ~40 hours/week, with some Saturdays. Pay is £13.30/hour with pro-rata holiday accrual. A full UK driving licence and references for van driving are required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Previous van driving experience with references.
• No more than 6 points on licence; no DD/DR/TT convictions.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop van deliveries safely and on time.
• Assist with loading and unloading the van by hand (physically fit for manual handling).
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate paperwork.

Van Delivery Driver

The Role:

Are you an experienced van driver looking for steady delivery driving work across Leicester and the wider Leicestershire area? We have an excellent opportunity to join our busy transport team. You will be delivering food and drink wholesale products to essential local customers, including schools, care homes, and restaurants.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: This driving role pays £13.30 per hour. Holiday is accrued up to 28 days per year, pro rata for PAYE.

Working Hours: Shifts are available Monday to Friday from 05:00, with occasional Saturday work, usually around 1 in every 3, when required. You can expect to work approximately 40 hours per week.
