Job summary

ATA Sameday in Alfreton is recruiting Delivery Drivers. You will deliver parcels on your allocated route, represent ATA Sameday, and receive full training with a company van and fuel provided. PAYE employment is offered with ongoing support from our Operations team.

We welcome drivers whether experienced or starting fresh, with a focus on reliability, customer service and professional conduct on the road.

Qualifications

• Full UK or EU driving licence.
• Licence held for at least 1 year.
• Minimum age 21 due to insurance requirements.
• Reliable and professional approach.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels safely and efficiently to customers across your allocated route.
• Be out on the road, meeting customers and representing ATA Sameday.
• The role includes training, equipment and support to start confidently.
• You’ll have experienced managers available to support you throughout your journey.

The Role

As a Delivery Driver, you’ll be responsible for delivering parcels safely and efficiently to customers across your allocated route.

You’ll be out on the road, meeting customers and representing ATA Sameday, so a positive attitude and good customer service are important.

The role is straightforward, and we’ll make sure you have the training, equipment and support you need to get started confidently.

You’ll have experienced managers available to support you throughout your journey with us — whether you’re new to delivery driving or already have experience.
