Job summary

Major Recruitment Norwich is partnering with DPD to recruit a Multi Drop 3.5 tonne van driver for Norwich depot on a seasonal basis. The role runs from November through January, with a potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

You will start training in Snetterton, must be over 25 with a clean UK licence (up to 6 points), and deliver up to 80 drops per day while providing excellent customer service. Pay is £13.00 per hour, with overtime at £19.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Clean UK driving licence with up to 6 points considered.
• Physical fitness and good customer service skills required.
• Experience with Multi Drop delivery is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver up to 80 drops per day for DPD contract.
• Meet delivery targets and maintain accuracy in routing.
• Attend training in Snetterton during first week.

Major Recruitment are working in partnership with DPD for Multi Drop 3.5 tonne van driver in Norwich.

We are looking for a Multi Drop 3.5 tonne van driver to join our clients established team at their Norwich Depot.

The ideal candidate will have a clean UK driving licence (the client will consider a max of 6 points), be physically fit, have good customer service skills and previous experience of Multi Drop delivery.

Each candidate will be expected to deliver up to 80 drops per day.

Your first week will be based in Snetterton for training.

Due to Insurance restrictions we can only accept candidates over the age of 25.

All uniform will be provided.

Hours of work - 0800am and 1000am start times

Contract starts in November and will run through to January with the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate.

Pay is £13.00 per hour - £19.50 ph overtime
