Job summary

Babcock International is seeking a Multi Coded Welder based on-site at Clyde, near Helensburgh, to support Royal Navy vessels with MMA, Flux Core and TIG welding. You will work in a highly regulated environment performing critical welds on pipework and structural components, ensuring safety and quality compliance.

The role requires an NVQ/SVQ Level 3 welding apprenticeship and eligibility for UK Security Check clearance, with generous benefits and development opportunities offered by Babcock.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a multi-coded welder with MMA, Flux Core and TIG.
• Strong background in pipework and structural coding.
• Experience in a highly regulated environment with SC clearance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality welds using MMA, Flux Core, and TIG on pipework and structural components.
• Identify and rectify defects in systems and manufacturing processes.
• Enhance welding processes and techniques to improve efficiency and quality.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations and Safe Systems of Work.
• Collaborate with a multi-skilled team to support routine and emergent welding activities.
