  • Own the stability and resilience of the MuleSoft integration platform and associated DevOps toolchains.
  • Manage platform upgrades, versioning, and deployments across development, test, and production environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues in collaboration with support and infrastructure teams.
  • Monitor system health and performance, implementing operational KPIs and alerting mechanisms.
  • Support robust service transitions by documenting solutions and engaging BAU operations teams.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders to capture requirements, define solutions, and align priorities.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, product owners, and vendors across multiple delivery streams.
  • Act as product owner for integration components—managing requirements, backlog, prioritisation, and delivery status.

  • Define and enforce integration best practices, coding standards, and security policies.
  • Perform peer code reviews and provide guidance on continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Champion API governance and standardisation across integration projects.
  • Continuously improve tooling, delivery processes, and platform maturity.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Thames Water’s API-led integration strategy.

Leadership, Mentoring & Knowledge Sharing:

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, supporting their technical growth and delivery excellence.
