Job summary

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Bank Specialist Podiatrist (MSK) for the Community MSK podiatry team in the Greenwich area. The role covers clinics across the borough and requires HCPC registration with MSK experience.

You will assess and treat patients in community clinics, including advanced gait assessments and orthotics manufacturing, working autonomously with senior support. The post holder will join a skilled team, provide high standards of clinical care and customer service, and

Qualifications

HCPC registered podiatrist.
BSc (Hons) Podiatry.
MSK experience during training.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced neurological & biomechanical assessments of foot function to isolate pathology.
Perform advanced gait assessments and interpret results.
Develop and agree treatment plans autonomously with clients, with support from senior staff.
Discharge plans through agreed contracts and follow through to improved foot pathology.
Assess all clients at every visit and refer to specialist services as appropriate.
Prescribe, manufacture and fit orthoses/insoles/appliances and shoe adaptations as needed.
Maintain health and safety, infection control, and accurate contemporaneous clinical records (RiO).
Keep up to date with podiatry developments and meet HCPC standards.
