Job Title: MSK Physiotherapist & Marketing Support
Job Type: Full‑time / Part time

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a passionate and dynamic MSK Physiotherapist to join their thriving clinic. In this unique role you will provide top‑tier clinical care and help grow the practice through marketing, community engagement and business development initiatives. You will receive ongoing CPD, regular team meetings and dedicated admin time to help you thrive.

You will work with a wide range of patients, from professional dancers and desk workers to manual labourers and performers. The clinic also supports the local theatre community, providing care for international artists who come to town.

Clinical Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessment of musculoskeletal conditions, including soft tissue injuries, joint issues and spinal problems.
  • Develop personalised treatment plans and guide patients through rehabilitation.
  • Use a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, exercise prescription, ultrasound, shockwave therapy and other interventions.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
Building and Managing Your Caseload
  • Actively grow and manage your own caseload of MSK patients.
  • Provide ongoing treatment and progress assessments.
Marketing & Business Development
  • Write and publish regular blogs on musculoskeletal health, rehabilitation, injury prevention and related topics.
  • Work with the clinic’s marketing team to optimise content for SEO and patient engagement.
  • Plan and create content for the clinic’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Create engaging posts that promote clinic services, patient success stories, health tips and upcoming events.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to produce visual and written content, including promotional materials such as posters, email newsletters and flyers.
  • Plan and assist in creating educational videos, exercises and treatment demonstrations for patients and social media/website.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with local businesses for referral partnerships, setting up referral schemes and coordinating visits.
Administrative & Operational Tasks
  • Communicate with new, existing and past patients to encourage re‑engagement, offer service updates and remind them of ongoing care options using personalised emails, phone calls or automated text reminders.
  • Manage stock levels of consumables (e.g., ultrasound gel, towels), reorder timely and maintain proper inventory records.
  • Perform regular stocktakes and report discrepancies or needs to the clinic manager.
Qualifications
  • Qualified physiotherapist with a degree in physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
  • Post‑graduate certifications in MSK physiotherapy modalities (e.g., acupuncture, manual therapy) are a plus.
Experience
  • Proven experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy practice.
  • Experience working in a private practice setting or multidisciplinary team is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience with social media content creation and management.
  • Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent written communication skills (blogging, email communication).
Technical Skills
  • Comfortable using patient management software, social media tools and video content creation software.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace and other administrative tools.
Other Skills
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive, self‑starter attitude and creative thinking.
