Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Band 6/7 Physiotherapist to join the MSK Outpatients Team in Wallasey, Merseyside. The role offers flexible working options with a base hourly rate of £26–£31 and a schedule that may include extended days and longer weeks.

The position runs from 01/10/2026 to 30/10/2026, with standard hours 08:30–16:30, and opportunities for longer days or a shorter week. NHS experience and ability to manage an independent caseload are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy.
• HCPC registration required.
• Band 7 MSK and outpatient experience.
• NHS experience preferred.
• Ability to manage an independent caseload.
• Strong clinical assessment and reasoning skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage an outpatient musculoskeletal physiotherapy caseload.
• Conduct comprehensive MSK assessments and diagnoses.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Deliver rehabilitation programmes for MSK conditions.
• Provide manual therapy and exercise-based interventions.
• Promote self-management and patient education.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and outcome measures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support delivery of high-quality outpatient services.
