Job summary

Hitachi Solutions Europe Limited seeks a Senior Technical Architect to lead architecture for Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE/Power Platform and Azure Integration Services. You will craft future state architectures, drive pre-sales, and mentor delivery teams.

You will collaborate with Engagement Managers, define TDD and Programme Solution Design, and champion ALM/DevOps practices using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

Qualifications

• Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE/Power Platform, Power Pages, and Pro-code development.
• Proven experience in architecting Azure Integration Services including Logic Apps, Service Bus, and API Management.
• Demonstrated experience contributing to commercial estimations, Statements of Work (SoW), and pre-sales tender responses.
• Demonstrable experience as a Technical Architect at a Programme level, capable of multitasking and prioritising technical debt alongside project deliverables.
• Expertise in Data Strategy, including Dataverse architecture and complex data migration.
• Strong proficiency in ALM practices and DevOps automation.
• Excellent technical documentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as PL-600 (Power Platform Solution Architect) or AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect).

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engagement Managers to drive pre-sales activities, including authoring technical responses for RFPs, validating solution estimates for SoW, and presenting technical roadmaps during bid defence.
• Identify opportunities for up-sell and cross-sell within active engagements by translating business strategy into technical architecture and programme requirements.
• Develop long-lasting and high-quality business relationships with clients by instilling trust and technical confidence.
• Act as the primary Technical Design Authority (TDA) to ensure alignment between multiple Solution Architects and development teams.
• Design and demonstrate future state technical architectures, prototyping, debugging, and implementing Azure Integration Services and Azure Functions with the development team.
• Author and own the Technical Design Document (TDD) and Programme Solution Design, ensuring artefacts meet GSI standards.
• Design bespoke solutions including custom plug-ins, JavaScript frameworks, and Pro-code extensions using Power Platform.
• Implement and manage ALM using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions to ensure structured change and guide environment strategy.
• Define and govern the Dataverse security model and large-scale data migration strategies.
• Support Lead Consultants and Developers in reviews of technical specifications and code quality.
• Share technical knowledge, best practices, and coding standards with project teams.
