Job summary

Leonardo Helicopters in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced MRP Controller to maintain a world-class scheduling system, supporting aerospace manufacturing objectives and programmes. You will own a range of Material Requirements Planning functions and further develop expertise in all aspects of the role.

  • Process and control Service Management Orders for R&O activity
  • Release Purchase Requisitions as purchasing authority to procurement
  • Procure parts from interplant suppliers
  • Action Quality Notifications
  • Run MRP reporting tools and act upon the data outcomes
  • Expedite Material Supply Management
  • Provide technical support on processes
  • Provide kits and shop support to DCC Production Line
  • Provide delivery forecasts to internal customers

Do you have experience using ERP systems to manage materials, scheduling, and supply chain activities in a fast-paced manufacturing or engineering environment?

Your impact

As an MRP Controller at Leonardo Helicopters, you will play a key role in maintaining a world-class scheduling system to ensure business and programme objectives are achieved.

What you'll do as MRP Controller:

You will be the technical owner of a specific range of Material Requirements Planning functions whilst further developing experience in all aspects of the role.

  • Update SAP Material Master Data and Production Orders and schedule requirements
  • Allocate components to ensure best use of company assets in support of all programme objectives
  • Process Purchase Orders for Range Managed parts and Offload Orders
  • Place Production Orders for in house manufactured parts
  • Process and control Service Management Orders for R&O activity

What you'll bring
  • Experience working with customers to provide a service
  • Integrity and professional approach with good communication skills
It would be great if you have the following:
  • A background in a manufacturing environment or aerospace
  • A knowledge of Company Quality Systems
  • Experience in SAP or equivalent ERP system
  • Knowledge of assembly and/or manufacturing techniques
