Job summary

Leonardo Helicopters in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced MRP Controller to maintain a world-class scheduling system, supporting aerospace manufacturing objectives and programmes. Do you have experience using ERP systems to manage materials, scheduling, and supply chain activities in a fast-paced manufacturing or engineering environment?

Your impact

As an MRP Controller at Leonardo Helicopters, you will play a key role in maintaining a world-class scheduling system to ensure business and programme objectives are achieved.

What you'll do as MRP Controller:

You will be the technical owner of a specific range of Material Requirements Planning functions whilst further developing experience in all aspects of the role.

• Update SAP Material Master Data and Production Orders and schedule requirements
• Allocate components to ensure best use of company assets in support of all programme objectives
• Process Purchase Orders for Range Managed parts and Offload Orders
• Place Production Orders for in house manufactured parts
• Process and control Service Management Orders for R&O activity
• Release Purchase Requisitions as purchasing authority to procurement
• Procure parts from interplant suppliers

What you'll bring

It would be great if you have the following:

• A background in a manufacturing environment or aerospace
• A knowledge of Company Quality Systems
• Experience in SAP or equivalent ERP system
• Knowledge of assembly and/or manufacturing techniques
